Co-supervision

The PhD thesis of Nobutaka Ito was co-supervised by:

• Nobutaka Ono and Shigeki Sagayama (University of Tokyo)
• Emmanuel Vincent and Rémi Gribonval (INRIA)

This thesis deals with robust localization and separation of audio sources in the presence of diffuse noise. This is useful in the context of music processing to handle certain diffuse music sources, and more generally in the context of microphone array signal processing.

The defense was held at the University of Tokyo on January 24, 2012.
